1. Open the main installation folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Daedalic Entertainment\Harveys Neue Augen

2. Open the "config.ini" and change the following option:

# RESOLUTION = {Auto|Desktop|Game}
# Auto - wide-screen support is activated if a wide-screen display is detected
# Desktop - current desktop resolution is used when game is started in full screen mode
# Game - game is initialized with the resolution specified in the game
RESOLUTION = Desktop

--> The last "desktop" is the most important change.

Should you know someone with the same game and codewheel, you can ask to borrow the wheel from this person.
If this is not the case, please contact us via support form and we will help you out.

Please try to start the game directly from the directory and not in your game library:
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Harveys New Eyes

This problem is a known issue and we are still working on a fix. You can try the following:
1. Go to the local files of this game on your computer (C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment\Harvey's New Eyes) and delete your savegames folder (you can copy the folder somewhere else if you like, as long as it is removed from the local filed of this game).
2. Disable the Cloud Synchronisation of the game in your Steam library (open your Steam library, right-click in the game and select "Properties", then "Updates" and switch off "Enable Steam Cloud synchronisation for Harvey's New Eyes")
3. Start a new game.

We will take care of this issue in a future update. Try to load a savegame from our database to avoid this crash.
